Gas: What you pay depends on where you are »

Gas prices vary widely across the USA. There are several reasons for the disparity, including competition, taxes, gasoline blends, distance from refineries and even land values. Nationwide, the average price for regular gasoline on Friday was $3.042 per gallon, up fractionally from the previous day, according to motorist club AAA.

    Here in Dayton Ohio Reg. Gasoline is about 3 dollars a gallon.

        3 dollars and over for a gallon of gas? Why don't the wepucks pretend it is another election and lower the gas again?

        I was pumping at a store on saturday and they came out and raised the price right then and there.

        No way is anyone's wages going up as fast as gas. I do not care what the wepucks say.
