'Cheneymania' Shotgun Award Nixed From Halo 3 »

A test version of the forthcoming installment to Microsoft's popular Halo videogame franchise included an homage to the vice president of the United States. However, the XBox 360 in-game "award" wasn't named after Dick Cheney for his political acumen, but instead for his prowess and aim with a shotgun.

    I wonder whether Cheney made any money from the use of his name on the game, It didn't say in the article. I just can't see him passing up any chance of making money.

      This is hilarious. They should have left it. Some extra sales would have been made, those that might be angered wouldn't have noticed.

        I still don't get why Cheney rushed his friend to the hospital instead of writing him off as collateral damage. I mean his friend's wife was a RepubliCon, right? She would have bought it.
