Early gender test raises abortion fears »

A UK-based company that claims it can tell expectant parents just six weeks into a pregnancy, and with 98 per cent accuracy, whether their baby will be a boy or a girl is raising fears this will lead to more abortions, the Globe and Mail reported last week.

    I would hope that knowing the sex of the baby would decrease abortions, maybe by increasing the attachment and helping women realize it's not just a blob of tissue. But sadly, it probably won't work like that.

      If parents are going to abort a child because of sex, they should be banned from ever having children. There are many couples out there that would love to have a child but can't and this must be a slap in the face for them.
