"Cesar Damian Solis, who earns up to $600 a month laying bricks and pipe in Phoenix"??? and they say they come to do jobs Americans won't do? from this I'd say there are a lot of Americans that would be more than willing to lay brick and/or pipe. I just don't think an American would want to do it for $3.75 an hour, which is what $600 averages out to for four 40 hour weeks a month, no wonder they say an American won't do that job, for that much under minimum wage, but I'm sure even at minimum wage a lot of people here legally would do that job

US workers in the meat packing plants, in 1980 were being paid $18.00 an hour, last year 2006 that same job working in a meat packing plant paid $8.00 an hour. (26 years later and the job pay less than half what it use to pay?)

This is all about profit! What is the next 26 years going to do to hourly pay for US citizens or current illegals? Who is going to take these illegals places, in the future?

Illegals aren't a lone on this one; a lot of citizens mistrust their government.

They should fear the government. They are here illegally and should be deported. I don't want to hear anything about amnesty either. Thats rewarding them for being here illegally. The presidents saturday morning radio speech was full of double talk. He said that it is not about amnesty. However in the next breath he said not until they have shored up the border security anyway.
