May 19, 2007, 1:13 a.m.McCain IS the one that should be beating his chest and crying foul about "torture". He should be true to himself instead of loyal to a group politicians.

May 19, 2007, 2:12 p.m.Let's suppose someone I knew had taken your family members hostage and knew where they were and was going to kill them in one hour.
In spite of 30 minutes of tea and cookies and asking nicely I still did not give up their location.
After 20 minutes of loud music, cold water and insulting me I do not give up their location.
With 10 minutes left would you:
A: Give up and let me go, accepting their death?
B: Force my head under water to the point of drowning to make me talk?
C: Beat me to within an inch of my life?
D: Tell me that 'A' is the only option allowed by law after the tea and cookies?
Take a minute to think about it, after that you have 9 minutes.
