    You might be able to take the headscarves from women but you can't take their beliefs. There should always be a choice. I am no fan of the headscarf, but that's my choice, not yours.

      More examples of Islamophobia. Are they going to include Catholic nun and Jewish womens headscrafs too? Maybe old women who wear headscarfs as well?

          "I want the headscarf to be completely banned in Danish society," Pia Kjaersgaard said in a radio interview that was transcribed by the Politiken newspaper on its Web site. "It is oppressive and I cannot tolerate it," she said.

          ;';';

          Right ON!!!!

          I agree with her completely

          I just hope the Muslims dont kill her for her beliefs.

            Boy! People should be able to wear whatever attire they want.

            Sounds like there's a village out somewhere missing an idiot!

              France banned the wearing of headscarves a few years ago citing its strong separation of religion laws.

              After traveling in Muslim countries I'm in favor of full head coverings if only for the beautification of any area where there are Muslim women. Some of them are really beautiful but most definately profit from complete coverage of their facial features- moustaches & all

                "As my next decree of Fashion Police I say that no man may wear earrings! Yes yes I know. Listen guys only two people wear earrings-women and pirates and I dont see no parrots on any of your shoulders! I go on to say that women who wear pants that have words on their @ss should just instead point to their ass while walking around so people will look." seriously what else will this guy roll out with?

                  Tehranchik - it was a tongue in cheek jab at all the good looking young women, who, when they get old put on the same black dress & grow a mole in the center of their chin with a foot long hair growing from it

                      So Muslims are intolerant, everybody expects the Muslims to dress the way the Western women dress and do things the way they do things. Muslim women can't have their head scarves, Muslim men can't have beard, and Muslims can't put up mosques with minaret on top of the building. The mosque shouldn't look like a mosque. What else the Western Democracy wants and expects from Muslims? Anyway these are not new to Muslims, even the hypocrites of Turkey has this rule for so many years but still Islam couldn't be taken away from the hearts of Turkish people. These are cowards who feel threaten by Islamic dress and Islamic way of life, like the Hitler they think they can destroy Islam. Quran says this; Jews and Christians will never be satisfied with you unless you follow their brand of religion and this the truth.

                          Even Denmark, one of the most liberal countries in the world, is waking up to the fact of Islamic extremism and the lack of integration in their country.

                          Islam is being eaten from the inside out by the cancer of extremism.

                          As the backlash from Western nations grows the apologists cry "Islamophobia" and "racism" and other excuses while Friday prayers continue to preach hatred, violence and the "we are victims" platitudes.

                          Until Muslims admit that they are victims of their own actions and violence and hate-preachers then there will be a continuing loss of acceptance of them in non-Muslim societies.

                          It is natural for people to be suspicious of all members in a group if members of that group carry-out mass-murders in the name of that group.

                          If you are stung by bees you don't want bees living near you, even if most of them don't sting.
