It's worth noting that President Bush's threat to veto a 3.5 percent pay raise for U.S. soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan came just two days before Armed Forces Day (May 19), the "single holiday for citizens to come together and thank our military members for their patriotic service in support of our country."

You are so full of it ...

Rice went to see the Syrian president 2 months after Pelosi - no one complained. Also, A VERY RARE FEW complained about the FIVE Republicans that went to Syria the SAME time as Pelosi.

There are no "radical leftist constituents" that any Dem is wrapped up with.

The MAJORITY of AMERICANS want our troops OUT of Iraq - period. There is no "defeat" and the MAJORITY of Americans ALREADY know that.

And the majority of Iraqis want us OUT of their country.

All you do is continue to spew the same SPIN phrases that you hear on FOX News. Try something original for a change, if that is possible for you - like, maybe, the truth ...

The fact that Bush is unwilling to give our military men and women even a small pittance of a raise - even as his oil buddies are making billions sucking the oil out of the ground - is unconscionable.
