Iraq a "big moneymaker" for al-Qaida, says CIA »

In one of the most troubling trends, U.S. officials said al-Qaida's command base in Pakistan increasingly is being funded by cash from Iraq, where the terrorist network's operatives are raising substantial sums from donations to the insurgency as well as kidnappings of wealthy Iraqis and other criminal activity.

    Well, what the hell, did they think Halliburton was the only one allowed to make money here? What's good for the goose is good for the gander, I suppose. As long as a country is being stripped bare, everyone should get a shot.

      This was all so predictable. Notice how he said most of the money changing hands is U.S. currency.

      Neocons keep chanting the "they'll follow us home" mantra. All while they are buying them the tickets.

        America still pays to import oil into Iraq.

        We pay the Kuwaitis about $1.70 a gallon and add another 60 cents to haliburton to truck it in and then we give it to the Iraqis who sell it of 15 cents at the gas staton.

        Then Alquaeda resells it in Jordan for $1.25.

        And you pay for it all at the pump here.
