The NBA Playoffs, in the Western Conference at least, have been pretty good so far. Golden State had a nice little run, Utah has been a great story, and we all know about the Phoenix/San Antonio series and all of the drama that went with it.

Wrestling is so entertaining and Basketball has become so mundane. Doesn't surprise me.

The reason we will never discover intelligent life in the universe is because we have been visited by intelligent beings but unfortunately they saw how popular WWE was and they concluded that there is no hope for this race. They left and have never come back! There are a few "sporting events" I would never watch, WWE being one of them.

When Michael Air Jordan retired from NBA, the basketball lost his soul. NBA is almost dead without MJ. :(

NBA is far from dead!!! Kobe Bryant scoring over 80 points in a game is a feet that M.J could never accomplish in his career, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade.... I could go on and on, and I have to question this article because I honestly doubt more people are tuning into WRESTLING of all things then the NBA!!!!

The "pro" atheletes have forgotten it's just a game a pastime a form of entertainment and unfortunately it seems many viewers have also.

pro wrestling is pure theatre my missus is a big fan.at least she doesn't pollute her mind with day time soaps mind you i think its not much differant its her esca******am and mind you she like drag racing too that one i can live with and im a single action shooter and she's always supported me in that why should'nt she have the things she like to do but even in australia the pro athelets are looking like scumbags thats sad but i can understand why some people are turning away from pro sports to the fake at least they know what they are going to get lots of fun .

Hey! Americans just need a release from the long, strict, confining days of work. I think we just want to have some fun watching large, bulging, throbbing adult men sweating, chasing, straddling, rubbing, pushing, grabbing one another... (I need to open a window). It's just a pleasent pass time.

Wrestling is just a soap opera for men with better acting.
I have an easier time believing that a guy can get hit in the head with a steel chair and kick out before a 3 count than I have believing someone can get blown up a car and come back 3 seasons later without a single scar.
Once you open up your mind and forget that its "fake" you will then begin to enjoy it.
Hating WWE because it is fake is not very fair or open minded. Do we call live plays "fake"? What is the difference?
Wrestling combines 2 of the greatest and most popular forms of entertainment of past times together.
It is both a live play and a gladiator competition. The problem with gladiator competitions was when your favorite guy lost...yeah, that was pretty much it for him.
Wrestling is not a sport, it's sports entertainment. Sit down, shut up, relax with a cold one after a long day at work, and forget its fake...you might enjoy it.

They should bring back the gladiatorial games. Randomly select people from the audience.. If it's the same audience as most NBA/NASCAR kinda games, we could at least weed out the gene pool.

Look everyone has an opinion and what you perceive as bad someone else may not. Just because you do not like wrestling, also screaming it is fake and only dim-witts watch it. Goes to prove that you opinion is just that, YOURS!!!
If you do not like wrestling, no one, I mean NO ONE is forcing you to watch it. You think that it has no significant to mainstream viewing? Well seems there are a few hundred million watching every week around the world. Seems that there is around 1.2 billion, that is with a "B" folks that is spent on pay-per view, merchandise and Vince is one wealthy man.
Wow, you may not like it but the figures show that your opinion is just yours and it wont be going away anytime soon. So keep on whining you hate and that it is worthless. The others will keep watching and you will have just wasted your breath.
