Veterans exposed to Agent Orange have higher rates of prostate cancer recurrence »
Posted by: bubba2 2 years, 5 months agoVeterans exposed to Agent Orange have a 48% increased risk of prostate cancer recurrence following surgery than their unexposed peers - when the disease recurs, it seems more aggressive. Agent Orange contains the carcinogen, dioxin, which can be stored in body fat and is believed to make its way into the cell nucleus and work as a tumor promoter.

May 20, 2007, 10:33 p.m.I had 2 friends who were involved with Agent Orange.
They both died of multiple cancers and had terrible health problems years before their deaths. Both were involved in lawsuits trying and failing to get the government to pay for their cancer treatments.

Just another hypocritcal picture of the "support the troops" spin from the government ... they like to toss out that phrase when they want their wars to continue, but they fail completely to REALLY support the troops when they REALLY need it.
