Bush Plans 'Second Surge' For Iraq »

The little-noticed second surge, designed to reinforce U.S. troops in Iraq, is being executed by sending more combat brigades and extending tours of duty for troops already there.

May 22, 2007, 1:19 p.m.So the "Surge" has failed 4 months early, and Plan B - a bigger surge - is already quietly underway. I think this was once known as "escalation." One must wonder: Is Iran the new Cambodia?

May 22, 2007, 5:59 p.m.Where are they going to get more troops? I guess the recruiters will close their regular headquarters and go straight to the prisons?
I am really tired of the Democrats being wimps. They need to stop all funding of all troops in Iraq. That will get them home, when there is no money to spend on keeping them there.

They will be raiding the hosspitals for reinforcments.
