IRAQ: Where Nobody Is Held Accountable »

Killings, crime, lack of medical care, collapse of education - the list goes on. But with the occupation by U.S.-led forces now into a fifth year, and a supposedly democratic government in place, no one knows who to hold accountable for all that is going wrong. It is the occupation forces that must be held accountable, many Iraqis say.

    Our current administration is responsible. Do those of us who oppose this current regime in Washington have blood on our hands too? I shudder to think that we might also. This administration has made all of us "ugly Americans".

        From statements such as the one in the article, it is no surprise the majority of Iraqis voted in favor of targeting coalition forces.

        We're not accomplishing anything other than making an entire country into a safe haven for terrorists.

          how bout holding americans responsible since they have done most of the killings, not only via u.s. military but via contractors as well with blackwater.
