May 22, 2007, 10:41 p.m.No "bad Motor Scooter" by Montrose? No "Turn the Page" or "Against the Wind" by Bob Seger?
No "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf (although they did get "Born to be Wild."No "Couldn't Stand the Weather" by SRV? (always pops to mind when I'm riding the cycle through a rainstorm).

May 23, 2007, 10:17 a.m.C'mon guys, I'm not even American- what about Canned Heat "On the Road Again" or America's "Ventura Highway"? I noticed "Take it Easy" by the Eagles was there, luckily.
And on a more modern note "Bohemian like you" Dandy Warhols.
So you gotta a nice car?

May 23, 2007, 12:25 p.m.No Allman Brothers? Holy mackeral. I love Pearl Jam (as you can see from my username), but RVM over Midnight Rider, Ramblin Man, No Way Out, or even Jessica by the Allman's makes hardly any sense to me.

May 23, 2007, 3:59 p.m.Maybe it's because I'm not a rocker, but all I need is some R&B with a nice beat and I'm set...Like Beyonce or Mary J. Blige.

May 24, 2007, 8:40 p.m.Some songs I like, some I don't. Overall a good list, though.
I would like to have seen Hayden's "Dynamite Walls," but I was pleased to see the inclusion of Modest Mouse and Iggy Pop.
I have been speeding to Fleetwood Mac's "Go You're Own Way" for the last 30 years. You would think that would've made the list...
Tom Petty's "Runnin' Down a Dream" IS the ultimate song to crank while driving....glad it was in the top 5.
