A recent release about General Idi Amin, dictator of Uganda from 1971 to 1979, ex-Olympic heavyweight boxing champ and all around murderous nutcase had me thinking of an earlier documentary by Barbet Schroeder made while Amin was still in power...

          I didn't see "The Last King of Scotland", so I don't know how he was presented. We refer to so many political enemies these days as kooks, crazies, nutjobs, etc., that it's helpful to look back at his life and times and see someone who clearly was worthy of those epithets.

            Idi Amin is not worse than Mr.Bush, if Idi is a national murderer, then Mr Bush is an INTERNATIONAL murderer. If Idi is a small dictator, then mr. Bush is the biggest Fascist in the world.
