May 23, 2007, 1:03 p.m.The sad truth is this - there's virtually no one in this government that's standing up for their oath of office - to uphold the constitution.
Ending this war, stopping all foreign aggression, and the like, are in line with the Constitution and what the founders wanted for this country...

May 23, 2007, 1:09 p.m.If the Republican Party wants my vote in '08, they'll have to nominate Ron Paul. Ron Paul is the only Presidential candidate in my lifetime that has made this much sense.
The major-media does not want Ron Paul to have a fighting chance for President. For more coverage of the black-out on Ron Paul visit www.infowars.com! Now the GOP and major-media want to keep Ron Paul out of future debates! SIGN THE PETITION! GO TO: http://www.petitiononline.com/RPRNC08/petition....

May 23, 2007, 2:40 p.m.Using the logic of this article, FDR should be brought up on war crimes as well.
Although this ain't a Ron Paul thread I figure I'd throw this out there for all of his fans:

May 23, 2007, 3:01 p.m.FDR used Pearl Harbor as an excuse to enter the war in Germany, even though the Germans never attacked us. By the articles way of thinking he should only have been able to attack Japan since they were the only nation that threatened us.

May 23, 2007, 3:05 p.m.Maybe if Sens and Reps were replaced every election we would get a message across, other than using our voting power i don't know what else we can do.
I have written letters, signed petetions, appealed to the sense of fair play, nothing works on that level. The only thing i can come up with is to hurt them in their wallets/purses and vote them out when they fail to live up to their campaign promises and keep doing it until we get our message across.

May 23, 2007, 4:40 p.m.My suggestion may sound a bit "different," but let's ALL stop voting. You read that right. After all, we all know that elections are rigged and it's who is counting the votes determines the winner. Let's ALL do a turn around, EVERBODY in this country, stop voting. Just think of what would happen.
I welcome your comments but please keep an open mind on this. "Our voices" would surely be heard around the world!

May 23, 2007, 6:27 p.m.Sadly, the leadership of both parties on the International Relations committee fails to understand the Constitution. One Republican member stated that the constitutional requirement that Congress declare war is an anachronism and should no longer be followed, while a Democratic member said that a declaration of war would be "frivolous."
I don't think most Americans believe our Constitution is outdated or frivolous, and they expect Congress to follow it.

May 23, 2007, 8:29 p.m.The American people especially Conservatives need to take the "Blindfold" off their minds" in this age of fast knee jerk mass media corporate manipulation "Fascism." The American 4th Reich of Corporate and State control is moving in and taking positions of power in the Government manipulating you through religion and taxes and false flags at a steady pace. Republicans minds are currently closed. Look at the polls. Currently, George Bush could be throwing Jews in the oven and the polls would most likely not change for the right. Read the constitution before it's too late. Wake up Conservatives. Take the blindfold off your mind. Your helping to usher in Fascism. Maybe that's what you want? Hope not. It won't be fun waking up one day under the new 4th Reich of the Prescott Bush dream.

May 23, 2007, 9:37 p.m.our leaders have abandoned the constitution. they seem to feel it doesnt apply b/c it is outdated. in many respects it is outdated. the founders lived in an era of horse transportation and single shot rifles.
it is time to update the constitution. it is time for a convention. the founders recognized that this would happen and provided a method, Article V.

May 23, 2007, 10:02 p.m."If you choose not to change your position, after it has become clear beyond reasonable doubt that the justification for war was fabricated, you are a co-conspirator in the prosecution of war. All of the blood that has been and will be spilled is on your hands."
That's it. As soon as this Bush Admin is out of office, the next president should arrest every friggen member and ship them off to Nuremberg to face an international war crime tribunal.
They still hang war criminals, right?

May 24, 2007, 3:36 p.m.It is s tall order to change a government. Our government's power is so strong that it would have to be a great popular stand to get it in a balanced position. They would resist. We must also see clearly that the offices and departments are not all known or accounted for. Eisenhower warned this country. It is now seen why.
