May 23, 2007, 8:39 a.m.The blame for this needless death lies in the White House's Oval office. Bush, Cheney, Rove etc have his blood on their hands.

May 23, 2007, 8:51 a.m.I look at it like this; Saddam was a serial killer...Asama is a serial killer.....hitler was a serial killer. For once....blame the serial killers..not our government.

Give me a break! To equate the President and the Iraq War with the crimes of Hitler is a lie that downgrades the enormity of the crimes of the Nazi Regime. You may not agree with the present war, but don't exaggerate it's scale.
If this is not the crimes of Nazi regime, what is it? you have not come across gas chambers yet but secret prisons and torture chambers are found all over the world. Death squads are working hand in glove with the American backed regime, people are being killed in hundreds every day. This war has been going for more than two decades, sanctions have killed millions of people, Hitler was an angel compare to Bush and his gang of thugs. The Right wing mafia cry only when a solder is killed, they don't care about innocent people being killed.

Those of you who give this guy a posite rating. Know that he has posted anti-Semetic comments. He appears to be a bigot from the Middle East. Feel free to agree with him but you'l feel ashame when you know more about the things he says on a regular basis.
Hey, what is anti-semitic comments? An afro-Asiatic subfamily of languages that include Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic and certain ancient languages such as Phoenician and Akkadian or relating to these languages or their speakers. So if he is from the Middle East he is smite but Israelis are not smites, just because they speak Hebrew doesn't make them one but they love to claim, if I speak Arabic or any of the above mention languages, I cannot be called smite, the Israelis are Eurapians. I hope you change your opinion about this semitic garbage.

May 23, 2007, 9 a.m.Isn't this a war? do we not expect dead bodies?
I don't recall reports of individual deaths in WW2 or Vietnam.
Must be a youtube generation thing.

May 23, 2007, 9:13 a.m.I don't understand the hype about 3 missing US military men while hundreds of innocent Iraqi civilians are dead everyday.
Hitler, Sadam, Bush/Cheney/Rice & Blair will go down in history as the worst war criminals who brought mass death and destruction by invading neutral countries.

May 23, 2007, 9:55 a.m.Go ahead and argue about this soldier. When Sadr comes into power in Iraq and aligns with Iran, we will have some real worries; especially since our resources have been squandered in a senseless war of occupation. We're not even demanding payment for services rendered in terms of oil from Iraq. That alone is reason enough to hate Bush. He is destroying our country, duh.

May 23, 2007, 10:01 a.m.madmaxine:
Iraqi civilians are getting killed due to the illegal inasion and occupation of Iraq and overthrow of a government. It does not matter if Sadam was a ruthless killer, he was not killing Americans here, in US.
If you were worried about genocide, you should have gone to Sudan, Darfur, Ethiopia.
Bush/Cheney/Rice & Blair are still the worst war criminals in the history since Hitler for bringing death and destruction to innocent people of Iraq.

May 23, 2007, 10:06 a.m.I hope the the soldier was shot and tortured like that 14 year old girl the US military raped, shot and killed along with her 5 year old sister and parents.

May 23, 2007, 10:09 a.m.The war is a necessary tragedy to keep what happened on 9/11 from happening again. Bush said from day one we will be in this for the long haul. The enemy we face today is like no enemy we have faced before. They place NO value on human life. They use children as suicide bombers. The media has reported briefly on money and arms pouring into Baghdad from Iran. Violence is being perpetrated by Tehran. Iraqi's are thrilled to have a democracy, many died going to vote. Ahmadinejad is to be feared. The Iranians are funding these terrorist attacks. If Iran gets the nuclear power it seeks then we are in big trouble. Conventional war is out the door and a new threat is in power. Ahmadinejad wants to wipe Israel and America off the face of the map. That is just the beginning; the Islamofacists consider this a Holy War and their goal is to make everyone a member of Islam and kill anyone who is not. This war is being fought in the MEDIA! Don't let people think for you! Study your enemy!

May 23, 2007, 10:11 a.m.All of us need to keep in mind that these soldiers are fighting and being murdered so that we can have freedom of speech and say whatever we want about our government. I agree Bush has royaly screwed up many times, but I am praying for the families of these 3 missing soldiers as well as others that have fallen or been lost in combat for our freedoms and liberties. If you people bashing our government on a daily basis even tried to do so in many other countries you would probably be thrown in jail or beheaded at the worst.

May 23, 2007, 10:14 a.m.Nikibabe.. that comment about the soldier being tortured was completely unnecessary especially considering that the evil soldiers that did that crime were brought to justice and are being punished, do you think that will happen to the person/group that killed this soldier TRYING TO PROTECT YOU? I hope that a family member of a lost or killed soldier, or a soldier themselves did not read your posting. You are ridiculous.

May 23, 2007, 10:16 a.m.If the US was taken over by another country -- unprovoked, our citizens would be called 'insurgents' for wanting to take back our country.

May 23, 2007, 10:50 a.m.Actually the resistance killed two of the rapist brigade comrads very slowly and very brutally.
They sent a message and looks like they are sending more messages..
Funny when we invaded Iraq they told us they would throw candy and flowers.
Looks liek they are Drilling holes in our troops heads and castrating them too.
Is this what Bush meant when he challenged the Patriots of Iraq to Bring it on?

May 23, 2007, 11:31 a.m.you are aptly named and poorly informed. The men in the 101 who did that were all sentenced to 100 years in prison...no parole. Sorry they didnt get thier heads cut off as is the usual punishment Muslim terrorists dish out but we dont do that here in this country as a way of legal punishment.

May 23, 2007, 10:35 a.m.The resistance have adapted and now know the best possible way to expose large numbers of american troops on foot out in the open is by sntaching one or more of them.
THey scurry around in the fiields and ditches and provide plenty targets for Snipers and IED's
capture 3 , kill them very slowly and killand wound another 20-100 in the search.
We should hire the resistance they actually can make effective plans for Iraq. Making our officers look prety stupid along the way.

May 23, 2007, 11:11 a.m.Why not stay out of nations business's. I see the other Lunatic side, the Democrats, gave in on the funding issue. So this aggressive war on another nation who never attacked us, like Vietnam, goes on and on and on. You hawks who want a glorious and powerful nation as before are taking our country down the toilet with your Nationalistic hawkish agenda.
Now you will call me a traitor but I was for the Afghan war and what did your leader do, attack a country who is far to the West of Afghanistan. His geography sucks, the war was afghanistan. Now all in Washington on both sides accept our Iraqi presence when the average Iraqi considers us occupiers. Same old excuse, we are obligated to make things right, never happen, Georgie screwed up and we all know it. Withdraw and let them settle their own dispute or if not you are a despicable meddler and corrupter of nations.

May 23, 2007, 11:12 a.m.And to you el4sail. Being in Iraq doesn't necessarily give us freedom of speech or liberties, we won those a long long time ago. I just believe it to be ironic that the people bashing the govt on a daily basis and wishing our troops harm are the same people that would be begging for help and protection if there was a terrorist attack in their backyard or their office building or their kids' school.

May 23, 2007, 11:19 a.m.For you imbeciles who cry " Illegal war", by far and away both parties in the house and senate signed onto this war, number 1.Number 2, the Iraqi people voted for there own government, for the first time ever. And 99.999% of the inocent people in Iraq that have been killed has been by fellow Iraqi's. So please...enough of the lies, ok? If the Iraqi's would stop killing each other in the name of centuries old religious non-sense, they could all get on with there lives....free lives.

May 23, 2007, 11:24 a.m.damn...we havent confirmed the identity yet but yeah I mean who else could it be really? Good God, how sad. Yeah this is proper treatment of detainees right guys? All you Gitmo people look at this and put a face on this soldier. You tell me Geneva Convention...why not tell it to them. You justify shooting a restrained captive POW, go on do it. I know you will. I even know HOW you will do it. You will say America and our soldiers are the bad guys and "deserve" this or Bush and Cheney are criminals or some such. The fact is this: The president has involved us in a war that seems to have no way out. Thats on his shoulders. But trying to blame anyone but the person who shot this young man for his death is nothing short of bull hockey...and deep down you know it. Justify and neg away I expect it from the batch of loonies roaming this site. My heart goes out to this man's family...such a horrid way to see God.

May 23, 2007, 11:33 a.m.Iraq is a tragedy. It's true president Bush may have mishandled this war but he, like all presidents focus on the generals making the decisions. Possibly you may want to blame the generals however the generals are not experienced in fighting a faceless enemy. So if you keep passing the blame from one person to the other you really lose the essence of why America is defending and on the offence. Our country was attacked in 1992 and in 2001 by Osma and his gang. It was attacked by a group that was in camped in Iraq training. Sadam may have not been a terrorist base but had clearly been in violation for years and years of UN resolutions in having weapons of mass destruction. He was a mass murder and had the potential to sell bio and other materials to terrorist. Whether he did or didn't if we had let him go he would have eventually started back in his bio warfare and his sons would have taken over when he died and our country would have dealt with this one way or another.
