    from the article;

The U.S. military said seven soldiers were killed in four separate roadside bomb and shooting attacks on Tuesday, most of them in or around the capital. The military had already reported the deaths of two Marines in Anbar on Tuesday.

The latest reported deaths mean a total of nine soldiers were killed on Tuesday, one of the highest daily tolls suffered by U.S. troops in Iraq. Eighty soldiers have now been killed since the beginning of the month and 3,431 since the U.S. invasion.

20 people killed in a cafe? What in the hell is WRONG with these people? Why can't we find the lunatics who are talking these people into blowing up themselves AND a bunch of civilians and kill them -- or at least get them the treatment they need? How in the world can anyone think that random killings is going to advance ANY agenda? It boggles the mind that an entire GROUP of people can be this mentally off balance. If the U.S. is the big bad guy here, why is it that the civilian casualties routinely exceed the military casualties?

Okay... lets fix the problem... We need to start selling suicide bomb packs to the Iraqis... Once we sell them a few million they'll blow themselves all up and Iraq will be a safe place again.

All you liberal want to legalize drugs because we can't stop users, so lets use the same theory for suicide bombers, we can't stop them so lets just supply them make money off the bombers and let them kill themselves.

And yet again the undeclared war between left and right rears it's head...

If this is the kind of attitude people have, is it any wonder some countries do not WANT democracy? If they could see some of the comments on this (and far too many other sites like it, I can see their point.

There is enough hate in the world already, without hating your own countrymen! Or is it simply that, with the ever increasing laws controlling who you can and can't hate (such as the anti-racism laws), people just need to find someone else to hate?

These soldiers may have died for something I believe was wrong, but I also believe that it is wrong to use their deaths as a means to attack your political opponents.

Either you learn to cooperate, or I can see that, in the near future, Iraq won't be the only country mired in a civil war.

A crowded cafe in Baghdad? That's the last place I'd be hangin' out at.

Democrats caved in again on the funding issue and this barbaric inane war continues.

Vote every incumbent who failed to represent its citizens out of office ASAP. Washington D.C. is an abysmal hole of corruption and self preservation.

From Immigration, pork barrel politics, corruption, lobbyist and just plain old greed which includes lucrative pensions, health care and salary raises our politicians should be embarrassed for saying, "I represent my constituents and country."

I failed to mention outsourcing, government spending and unfair trade policies that these idiots support.

Nelson I know you a smart enough to get off the warmonger crap. You know good damn well that no matter how many peace treaties are offered over there, there is a group there that will start a fight. They hate the western world view. And you know this. Why do you insist on your harping on this and the west. When you know good damn well that no matter what policy you concieve. There are plenty of groups there that are willing to fight and kill the infidels.

If you put the effort against all of them over there willing to kill all of us here. We probably could get more done here in the States. How about for once you people put your anger towards the true enemy of the U.S. the Islamic Murdering Cult.

This is getting really old. Hoew many news headlines have I seen just like this one? It started with the first one: over 3000 killed in World Trade Center bombings. Every day now: 20 killed, 30 killed, 100 killed. Its time to end all this once and for all.

Invading Iraq was a mistake to begin with. Toppling Saddam put a Shi'ite pro Iranian government in power in Iraq making its neighbor Iran even more powerful and significantly altering the balance of power in the Middle East. At least Ronald Reagan had half a brain. That's why he supported Saddam when they were fighting an Iran led by an equally evil Ayatollah Khomeini. Even with creeping senility, Reagan understood the dangers of allowing radical Islam driven by Iran to spread. The fool Bush has allowed it to flourish & soon Iran may have the nuclear bomb. As has been rightly pointed out by British conservative historian Niall Ferguson, Bush attacked the wrong country. If he wanted a pre-emptive strike, maybe he probably should have attacked Iran instead. Iraq never contained in WMD. But Iran might in the future.Far worse to have Iran shaking its fist at the world with a nuclear bomb, than it would have been to have an impotent Saddam in power.

I see the morons are now blaming muslims for starting slavery, even though there were millions of white men more than happy to perpetuate it for CENTURIES. Don't forget the glorious US southern man was still jumping brown sugar long after the evil English empire outlawed slavery. You patriots remember the British empire, you know, the one we fought for our own independence? Read about the Belgians making lamps out of the Congolese.

The closest comparison I can make to the Iraqi suicide bomber is the japanese kamikaze, and/or just regular japanese soldier. You're gonna tell me there weren't any US suicide missions or attacks in history? US couch soldiers need to wake up, along with the military brass and stop being the ignorant flag wavers that they are. Your own Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul and Murtha think this war is idiotic, but you guys push someone else's kids into war for your own patriotism. Either win this war through a draft or stop it. Halfass is

                          a losing strategy.

The day is nearing for Bush to commit suicide with his supporters, he has taken the US on a suicide mission, of course without a suicide bomb jacket.
