Astronomers identify a new class of cosmic explosions »

Astronomers are announcing today the discovery of a new class of stellar explosions. The finding is based on observations of a flash seen in the Virgo cluster in a galaxy known as Messier 85.

        Makes one anticipate the launch of the new Webb telescope that is significantly larger and more powerful than Hubble.

        Should be mind blowing.

            Hmmm.... I guess the scientist will be asking for more money to study something that matter zilch to the common man on Earth. THat's the problem with science now, it not about finding anything useful its just about finding something that will get you a grant.

              Nice story , if we don't stop sending crap up in space it will become the new waste dump like the Oceans .
