    They won't be wasting time for much longer. I doubt this compromise will make it past the Senate, then from there, there can be no compromise.

    The Democrats should put it on the line like this: tell the president either sign the Iraq war bill with a timetable for withdraw or get impeached. If he balks, Cheney is the first to go.
