SACRE BLEU!!! Chirac just crapped his brie. . . right in his pants!!!

    I did like this line:

"Unfortunately for the president, the spy simply removed the notes and memos about the affair to his home, where they were seized in March last year by Mr d'Huy and Mr Pons."

Hmmm, could blackmail have been on someone's mind?

I also find the race for magistrates to prosecute Chirac before "reforms" are passed to save Chirac from prosecution fascinating. Will the reforms apply only to Chirac or is bribery going to become a permissible from now on in France? LOL

If you look further back you will find out that it was Chirac that worked together with Hussian for the sale of Iraqs Nucleur reactor before either became leader of their nations. The world was blind to think that Chirac had any reasons for going against the war but personal.Lets also not forget the french not letting us fly in there air space to go after Kadaffi.Chirac saw a weak Gehardt Schroder in germany that would do anything for votes and used him also for Chirac personal gain. Funny when you think we had to save them from the Germans two times.

Could this be why he was SO against the Iraq war? Jacques and Saddam buddies? I have never liked Jacques Chirac, always thought him to be weak, sneaky weasel. If this is true I'd say he is just that. Hopefully the new President of France Nicolas Sarkozy will bring some honor and class back to the French governement. After Jaques, brother they need it.

I spent a year in Paris one weekend in 1977. I believe that this story is accurate and that there is a tie to Iraq and the "food for oil" scam run out of the UN. It will be interesting to see what coverage this gets on U.S. new media.

Of course it does make one wonder about other politicians that were against the war also. Where they on the Saddam Payroll directly or indirectly?

When are we going to get some leadership in this country that will stand up and tell the Libs, point blank, that they're just as much an enemy of what this country stands for as Bin Laden?
