My box office gurus are expecting Disney's P3 to make $200 million over the next 4 1/2-days. But the benchmark for comparison to Sony's Spider-Man 3 is what P3 does Friday-Saturday-Sunday: Can Johnny beat Spidey's $151 mil at the box office?

Somethings you do for yourself and somethings you do for your kids. If you can't accept that fact then I guess you weren't ready for kids... Too bad they will be the ones suffering.

I know its going to be cheesy but I still am going tonight! I have no delusions of grandeur for this one, who cares Johnny Depp is in it and thats all I need to know!

i saw it last night and it's great, i hardly noticed the long running time because i was so into it. and the scene after the credits is really cute. i hope it sets the holiday weekend record, i'm going again this weekend because i loved it that much so i'll help it out :)

I also saw it last night. I thought it was great. Through the story lines and plots, you can understand what's going on and Depp was fine as the flighty Captain Jack Sparrow. Yeah, it's corny, but it's good to have corny once in a while. It was good to watch all these characters who are fun, and corny and swashbuckling.
It might not win any critical acclaim, but I do to the movies to be entertained and escape for two or three hours. I was entertained. I laughed, cringed at the action and loved watching the gorgeous Depp and Bloom off on another adventure.
I plan to see it again. And will see the next one and the next one, if they make any more. It brings back a time that we haven't seen in a long while and as I said before, the characters aren't bad to look at.
I hope it breaks the record and more.

All I have to say is if you don't see this movie and you saw the first, two. Then you have no heart for laughter or a good time. I don't care what you guys say about Johnny Depp. The man still has my respect. He said he would leave the country if Bush was re-elected. He did. That is more than any of the liberal hollywood did when they said they would move.
You do not like his politics that is fine. It does not derail his acting abilities. Aslo those that are bad mouthing this film or even the last film. They are called fictional movies. Wow, they are for entertainment. Some of you people are expecting a Masterpiece Theatre thing I guess. Damn it is a movie about pirates and a dead monkey. Get over yourself.

Johnny Depp has been living in France since 1998 - before Bush was even elected the first time. So I guess it was pretty easy for him to 'leave the country.' Actually as I recall, it was not Depp who made this statement, but Robt. Redford.

saw this last night. some of its great, but most of its nonsence as usual with these movies. a good bit of fun tho and the special effects were very impressive. keith richards was only in 2 scenes :(

HAR HAR HAR!!! Ahh come on the Pirates of the Carribean is a great movie.. Keira Im coming to save you baby!!! ha ha ha... Ahh I think this is arguably one of the best roles Ive seen Johnny Depp play in a while... Anyways look forward to this one... nough said..

all the actors are great..
but it won't be shown until the last ten-day of june in China..
