U.S. Military Deaths in Iraq at 3,450 »

As of Saturday, May 26, 2007, at least 3,450 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. The figure includes seven military civilians. At least 2,809 died as a result of hostile action, according to the military's numbers.

    The AP count is 17 higher than the Defense Department's tally, last updated Friday at 10 a.m. EDT.

      Name one benefit for this sacrifice.

      These troops are more dead

      Theri families are not better off.

      We havent added or enhanced any freedom in america

      we havent lowered any cost to americans for anything,
