Um, not sure about if the G8 applies to third-world countries but, the reason we didn't join the Kyoto is because of that. All our businesses will go to China and India because the regulations won't apply to them. Kind of stupid if you ask me. I mean it is GLOBAL warming so does it really matter where the greenhouse gas emissions are being put out.. I say we shouldn't sign ****** until it applies to all countries.

Not the US, just the irrelevant Bush Administration. We cannot allow them to mkake any more disasterous decisions. They have proven to be mental lighhtweights, playground bullies but not anyone you would trust with any weighty decisions given their horrific track record.

Man-made global climate change is a theory and a theory only. Al-jazeera Goreleone is a crackpot and a washed up has been political hack, who is desperately trying to stay relevent. This is all bs/fluff to preface his getting into the '08 presidential race. He doesn't have a snowball's chance of being elected, but if he runs Hillary and Osama Obama are toast. More and more scientists are owning up to the fact that global warming is junk science. The holdouts are leftist/european socialist types and the rest know they will lose their funding for their research if they don't "play ball".

BTW, THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WILL BE....

It will go over your head so do not bother to read.

Humans are self destructive creatures of habit. You need only to look at the record of human habitation on this world and assuredly know, we will destroy what is. Wars and human barbarity is the norm.

Arguments for and against climate change due to human interaction shows the disparity between opposing sides. Even this one "simple" idea is promoted to dissent. Your grandchildren will inherit the bounties that the earth provides and each and every year the bounties dwindle. From overpopulation, with religious zeal, to exhausting our resources many humans will deny what is factual and just plain observable with the naked eye. You will deny the truth since many who are in power would promote propaganda to refute what is.

So self destruct, I could give a S@@@. Bush and Cheney epitomize my thoughts, so have at it. The conservative hawks which propogate every nation would destroy evolution.

It really doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the G8s position on this particular issue, the fact remains that the primary objective of G8 is to eliminate the working middle class for the advancement of the top 10% of the people controlling the worlds wealth. Therefore anyone who believes that "they" are trying to accomplish anything for the "common good" are mistaken.

Basically, the argument against stopping pollution and man-made climate change by the US can be summed up by the following statement:

"But mom! China and India get to make a mess! Why can't I?!"

                          Childish, just plain childish.

As long as there is reasonable doubt as to the DEGREE of human influence on global climate, why don't we(*) all agree to focus on accelerated development of renewable energy - rather than purchasing GHG emission reductions from Mr. Putin (or funding heating plants in China?)

(*) I'm a Danish citizen - and I believe much reasonable doubt still exists.

Anyone who doubts global warming is not exacerbated, if not caused by accelerated human-made CO2 emissions is either ignorant or just plain brain dead. Bush and company don't give a rat's butt about caring for the earth, which they allege was created by their god. They just want to get their hands on the 25% of the world's undiscovered oil and natural gas buried under the Arctic icecap, which will no longer exist in 10-15 years. Unfortunately, neither will much of anything else, except Hummers and morons who drive them.

TO USE YOUR OWN WORDS PREVIOUSLY POSTED-

What makes you need to label a person as liberal or conservative simply on their opinion of the cause of global warming?

Why do you assume I support Gore? Just because I might say some of the same things he does, how do you know I wasn't saying that way before he was busy developing the internet.
