May 27, 2007, 3:39 a.m.One of the apparent goals is building up China's ability to back up threats to attack Taiwan, the self-ruled neighboring island that the Communist Beijing government claims as its own territory. May 27, 2007, 9:09 p.m.Isn't odd that China is financing the building of two armies one in China and the financing of the American Army, since alot of the money that comes from China likely gets diverted to Military spending.
Some people in the U.S. and other countries are really upset at the Chinese in regards to their currency, I think it is a good Idea that the Chinese retains control of it or it will be traded to a level which suits others not the Chinese.
