Iraqi Refugees Turn to the Sex Trade in Syria »

'Many of these women and girls, including some barely in their teens, are recent refugees,' writes Katherine Zoepf. 'Some are tricked or forced into prostitution, but most say they have no other means of supporting their families.'

May 29, 2007, 12:06 a.m.The Iraqi refugees that fled their own country to get away from the violence and the mess that Bush's war has made are now resorting to prostitution to survive.
Meanwhile, IN Iraq, many children are also doing drugs to get away from the violence and are resorting to prostitution to survive or are being forced into it. Others are working for insurgents, making money to support their families by making bombs (that are used against US troops).
