House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Monday she led a congressional delegation to Greenland, where lawmakers saw "firsthand evidence that climate change is a reality," and she hoped the Bush administration would consider a new path on the issue.

Pelosi could have just cracked a book and looked up information on the ice ages the Earth has experienced. The evidence is there.
That way she and her cohorts could have gotten back to the US faster to do some real work, like work on serious measures to advance R&D on alternative fuels or health care reform, two issues Bush has expressed interest in working on.
What are they afraid of? That he might go along?
I'm tired of hearing Congress has no time to do anything when I see wastes of time like this.

A democrat can say the sky is blue and it'll spark vociferous denials by the republicans. Everything is political with some people.
