The VA rules and policies regarding awarding benefits to injured service members is layered with so many obstacles it is perhaps time to privatise the entire department. I am generally against this action because in the long run outsourcing government functions wind up costing more than having government workers do the job. Reading the article leaves me exhausted and frustrated. Our soldiers, airmen, Marines, and Navy men and women deserve much better treatment.
