TOtheMOON
May 28, 2007, 4:36 p.m.The purpose of this story is to encourage people to send something, anything - stone, chunk of wood, piece of cloth, whatever with the name of one of these soldiers, to President Bush so that he can get a good look at the size of this war. He just seems to be ignoring American's request to end this war, so maybe by over-whelming him with some type of object with a name written, painted on it, he couldn't ignore it. Just a thought.

May 28, 2007, 5 p.m.I'm just too overwhelmed to say much. But I just can't help but see those faces of youthful innocence...now gone. Plus their families, friends and neighbors will never see them again. It'll aways be a lasting impression in my heart.
I wonder how G.Bush can look at himself in the mirror, and say to us that this stupid war is necessary, and justified.
He should look into this website, but I doubt that it will even phase or move him.
Thanks TtM!

May 28, 2007, 6:04 p.m.Christopher Golby leaves behind an 8 year-old son Dylon. Dylon misses his dad very much and still doesn't understand why. Well, most of us are a lot older than Dylon. And we sure as hell don't know why either. We're sorry, Dylon.

May 28, 2007, 9:10 p.m.All those who honor the criminals in uniform in Iraq who are disguised as US military, dead or alive, are really honoring Bush and his invastion of Iraq which has brought death, destruction, displacement to millions of innocent Iraqi people including those 2 to 3 million who have fled and become refugees.
Take a minute and pray for these people who have suffered and not those who created this problem.

May 28, 2007, 10:52 p.m.I am disgusted with anyone that can take what is a very moving montage of photos of our brave soldiers that paid the ultimate price for our freedom, doing a job that they believe in, and turn it into another one of your very old Bash Bush threads!
ToTheMoon.... That may be your purpose for the Article, but I do not believe it was the Authors reason, nor that of the Families that sent it in!
Why don't you simply go and burn another flag! I will be there with a replacement in hand!

May 29, 2007, 1:26 a.m.Once again, a tribute to our fallen heroes has devolved into anti-Bush rhetoric.

May 29, 2007, 10:55 a.m.Crespi, Why don't you check out Robert E. Lee's story on this Memorial Day. One of the greatest Americans and Christians ever to walk the planet. "I think it better to do right, even if we suffer in so doing, than to incur the reproach of our consciences and posterity." No more Rwandas.

May 29, 2007, 11:58 a.m.This is all BS. Why respect anyone who goes out to fight without a cause. This is a free country and anyone can protest at something illegal and dangerous.
I also saw an ad on CNN that says we have to donate our airline frequent flyer miles to the wounded troops and their families to travel for medical treatment. This I think is height of BS. If anyone has to pay for this, it should be Bush/Cheney/Rice who want to continue their street fighting in Iraq against sunni/shiite death squads. It is not a war as there is no enemy with an army, airforce or navy.

May 29, 2007, 12:01 p.m.I am disgusted with the fact that my President, who represents me, is not only making himself look like a monster, but me, as an American, look like a monster. I am not okay with that. I am allowed to disagree. How many soldiers disagree? We have no idea, but just because they went to Iraq (or anywhere to fight for America) doesn't mean they agree with the reason that they are there. How do they feel knowing that American's aren't fighting for their safe return, simply because they don't want to appear Anti-Bush? Aren't you letting them down? They are waiting for this war to end too. Watch the movie "The Ground Truth; After the killing.". Then come back to Netscape and discuss how okay these soldiers are to be fighting this war.
