May 28, 2007, 2:06 a.m.Iran has summoned the Swiss ambassador, who represents US interests in Tehran, to protest against what it calls an American spy network operating in Iran.
The strong protest comes on the eve of talks in Baghdad between the US and Iran over the future security of Iraq.

On Sunday, the Iranian authorities summoned the Swiss ambassador to demand an explanation of the networks, which Iranian TV said were seeking to commit "infiltration and sabotage in western, central and south-western areas of the country".
Switzerland represents US interests in Iran.
The White House said it did not confirm or deny allegations about intelligence matters
