May 29, 2007, 6:31 p.m.There are positive comments made daily about the war by many GI's. To infer that none are "for" the war (as the title of the piece does) is misleading. From the artilcle itself, "it is impossible to simply extrapolate from the small number of soldiers in Delta Company."

May 29, 2007, 10:14 p.m.My brother's best friend was over there and he said after a while it felt like he wasn't making a difference. He says that he encountered many people who are thankful they are there, but while he was stationed in Iraq for a little over a year, the Iraqi people's situation (at least the ones he was around) didn't improve. So I can see why they'd have doubt.

May 30, 2007, 12:18 p.m.At the beginning of the Iraq war when a combat experienced general told "President" Bush that it would take hundreds of thousands more troops to secure Iraq Bush immediately fired the general.
When another experienced general told Bush that it would take hundreds of millions of dollars more to fund a proper successful invasion of Iraq, Bush dismissed THAT general.
Now Bushie's big "surge" idea is to go in with a number closer to the required number of troops. NOW THAT EVERYTHING IS A CLUSTERF*CK AND IT'S TOO LATE.
Impeach.
