May 29, 2007, 6:03 p.m.Populist.
Thanks for the blog. It makes people go into self analysis.
I am a naturalized citizen who have spent most of his life in the US. My wife is 4th generation American, my children and grandchildren American also.
I love this country I believe it is still the greatest country in the world.
We travel for prolonged periods and mix with peoples of multiple ethnic and political backgrounds.
No one place is perfect, we see positive and negative issues everywhere.
We could maintain our first place international status and respect.
All this could be fixed by getting a rid of corporate and political corruption, also by a less arrogant approach before other nations.

May 29, 2007, 7:45 p.m.While still a great Nation, this administration has done nothing but undermined the integrity that it has always stood for.
I know the first thing the cons come up with is Clintons B/J, but that's such an unimportant issue when you look at the big picture and all the lives this admin has taken.
It's been about death since the 9th month of Bush's tenure.

May 30, 2007, 1 p.m.The writer of this story is stupid on his best day. He obviously hasn't been to a foreign country. I know there's no place better than the U.S. People like this guy should try moving to Canada or Venezuela and see how much fun life is there. Just another example of how U can't please the snobs at PopulistAmerica. They are just too near perfect for me. Oh how I wish their wisdom could have surfaced sooner so we can see the solutions they offer. WHAT A JOKE! PopulistAmerica I hope U crash & burn and I hope I get to watch it happen.

May 30, 2007, 2:34 p.m.I'm going to freely admit that I found this article hard to read. The author jumps around and seems to enjoy his inside asides to his audience a little too much. Some fine points go hurting, being buried in his need to be hip.
I like much of the stuff submitted by populist. This just didn't catch my fancy. But that should be ok.
