The summary is part of an attachment to Fitzgerald's memorandum to the court supporting his recommendation that I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Cheney's former top aide, spend 2-1/2 to 3 years in prison for obstructing the CIA leak investigation.

I'm sure all the conservative windbags who filled the echo chamber with talking points to the contrary will just as loudly issue retractions and apologies to all concerned.

I hope they zing this dumb ass administration, no this dumb ass regime, for all that they can get. What happened to Ms. Plame was unwarranted, malicious and just plain out mean. Anyone for an impeachment now?

she was working on iran and nuke proliferation when they outed her. her facade company had to be dismantled after the outing, so all of those people had to be re-assigned, months of hard work was lost, contacts were compromised and we were no longer able to have the same level of monitoring of iran's nuke program after the outing occurred.

whoever outed her committed a serious act of treason.

if that ain't treason, I don't know what is.

You are correct NoWayMan, it's treason.

I personally find it most curious that since she had been specifically tasked to keep up with who was doing what with radioactive materials in the Middle East her organization would be a most valuable asset if it were still in place.

I have no direct evidence of intent to this purpose, but it seems to me that the compromisal of her mission is working directly into the neo-cons hands as relates to Iran.

She wasn't outed because of her husband's op-ed piece.

She and the front company whe headed were too accurate in their work for Bush to lie and invade Iran...

Get rid of the people who can rat you out.. and do it at a time that you can discredit them for something else..

The only undercover work Valerie Plame did was to find out why so many paperclips were missing out of the office ... she's a joke ... Please .. lets get more acts like hers to fill the vacancies in the Liberal Circus !

Dave59, How can you say you are for the law and then pass as judge and jury on the US government and the American public? What happened to due process? You do not know all the facts or the the motives of the US government or the American people unless you were to sit down and talk with them. Instead you talk down to them. The Republicans most common trait is acting as if they are above the law which recent Democtratic actions mimic. I didn't vote for Bush either but who died and made you pompous a$$.
