As I have said before when asked for a plan that didn't involved withdrawing troops from Iraq, The only plan that doesn't involved withdrawing troops at some point is leave them there forever. Guess that was the plan. Makes you wonder why the White House denied it for so long, did they think we wouldn't notice

May 31, 2007, 6:54 a.m.I think Iraq and it's people envision a very short-term presence of the US in their country.
But how do you kick a machine-gun wielding nutjob, who indiscriminately kills every other person, out of your living room? While he's telling you that all his friends now own your livelihood...
Please give me the answer to that question, Iraq.

May 31, 2007, 9:23 a.m.At least he finally admits it! After all these years he finally states what most of us have been saying since the beginning, that there never was an exit strategy, because we never planned on leaving! How long have we had bases in Germany, Japan, and elsewhere since WWII? We have built an embassy in Iraq bigger than the Vatican and at least 14 huge permanent military bases complete with car dealerships, and some people actually expected us to leave? We will be there until every drop of that damn oil is sucked dry from under the sand, and replaced with U.S. and Iraqi blood. It has been said that it is easier to get rid of cancer, than to get rid of the U.S. Any questions?
