Vitamin D prevents breast cancer in pre-menopausal women »

Early animal and lab studies show that calcium and vitamin D provides a preventative effect against breast cancer, according to background information in the study report.

May 31, 2007, 8:50 p.m.The matter is that in order to get an equivalent of 1 teaspoon of cod liver oil, you need to eat 10 capsules! Actually, the taste is not that bad, if to add a pinch of salt (reminds of the taste of black caviar). And - if you don't like caviar :) - there is cod liver oil now available with mint or lemon flavor (look in health food shops).
