I think that has more to do with the rise in neo-Nazi's. Maybe the women are leaving because they can't stand that kind of man.

May 31, 2007, 5:23 p.m.Great article but the argument is a little simplistic.. one could argue that the lack of women in East Germany would lead to an increase in homosexual activity as well although that might be more difficult to document and confirm..
