Minnesota case fits pattern in attorneys flap »

Posted by: Aidenag 2 years, 5 months ago

For more than 15 years, Tom Heffelfinger was the embodiment of a tough Republican prosecutor. So it came as a surprise, and something of a mystery, when he turned up on a list of U.S. attorneys who had been targeted for firing. Part of the reason, government documents suggest, is that he tried to protect voting rights for Native Americans.

Are the American people too fat, lazy & stupid to stand up against this outrageously criminal regime? Perhaps something on reality sphincter tv is on and they might miss it. Get Up Stand up!

Outrageous. The Gonzales/Bush DOJ has been turned into a political tool much as Hitler turned his justice system into a tool of Nazi imperialism. If we do not impeach these criminals for their misuse of government, it is a sad day for democracy.

I just read this story this morning, in the L.A. Times. The more I read, the more I got pi$$ed off. Its obvious now that this is a rogue presidency, that needs to be stopped. I mean how do we know that he didn't approve this during his re-election campaign? I would like to see the right wing wackos defend this.

Henry Waxman will have his work cut out for him in investigating the elephant party's subterfuge and malfenece(or however you spell that word)

WE, the PEOPLE, must stand up and demand the impeachment of this administration. The rest of the world currently views the populace of this once great nation as either stupid, lazy or powerless. Which do you want to be?

There is plenty of evidence that this criminal cabal has denigrated our Constitution after Boosh took his oath of office to uphold and defend this aforementioned document.

GOON-zales needs to be GONE-zales YESTERDAY if not sooner. I am so ticked, so enraged, that the namby-pamby Congress has done NOTHING to put a stop to this. If he isn't impeached, the next gaggle will want the same powers. And I have not heard one candidate utter a word about bringing the Executive Branch back into line with the Constitution. They may despise Bush, but they want a chance to drive his augmented ship of state just as he's re-shaped it.

              AAGGHH!

If the censors would let it pass, there's a whole string of expletives I could use to indicate my rage and frustration regarding this.

Thanks Aidenag for submitting this story. I know this happens in states other than MN. MN will be a big pivotal state to win for either party. Heck the 2008 RNC convention will be in St. Paul over Labor Doy weekend. So voting rights of all people will be important. It will be interesting to see what changes in the laws will be made between now and November 2008.

                          This is weird. Remember:

"Tribal sovereignty means that; it's sovereign. I mean, you're a â;; you've been given sovereignty, and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. And therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities." â;;President George W. Bush, speaking at a gathering of minority journalists, Washington, D.C., Aug. 6, 2004

                          Are these things related somehow?
