Senate Minority Leader Louis DeLuca was arrested Friday on charges that he tried to have a businessman at the center of a federal racketeering probe arrange to rough up someone the senator believed was abusing a relative.

Really dont have much a problem with the fact he tried to have someone who he believed was abusing a relative roughed up. I think most people would do the same in that type of situation.
The part i do have a problem with here, is that a State GOP senate leader has such good Mafia connections that he can ask them to do it for him... I mean if that doesnt say he is in bed with them, i don't know what does.

wow. Doing that is just a misdemeanor? I agree with you, Aidenag, that many would want to do something about a family member being abused. But his Mafia connections, given his status in government, is disconcerting.

Nothing New here, Washington is full of corruption...
Now than, Vince Foster, Hillary Clinton's good friend from the Rose Law Firm apparently Killed himself in his office and was found in a Washington Park Miles Away??? How could this be???
