N. Korea Reactor Work Was Suspended »

North Korea 's sole nuclear reactor for making radioactive material for bombs recently restarted operations after a suspension of some 10 days, an official said Monday. News reports said the halt was due to technical problems at the facility.

    "The communist state stopped work at its Yongbyon nuclear reactor for about 10 days last month but reactivated it recently, a South Korean intelligence official said on condition of anonymity, citing the issue's sensitivity. The official gave no more details."
