After what Bush has done to our democracy, he has some nerve lecturing Putin about democracy »
Posted by: populist 2 years, 5 months agoHe is kidding, right? Lecturing Putin about derailing democracy? Sorry, Mr. Bush, but Putin is doing exactly what you and Cheney and the Republicans have been doing in our country over the past six years.

June 5, 2007, 11:26 a.m.Thanks for this post.
I thought the same thing as soon as I saw this headline. I wonder if Putin would feel like he had to take this course if Bush, Cheney, et al had not completely destabilized the Middle East?
In any case Bush commenting on this is as deplorable as Putin doing it.

Too late, Shrub, you sold our principles down the river a long time ago.

June 5, 2007, 2:48 p.m.I can't remember if was a G7 summit or what, but a year or two ago Bush made a speech and Putin was in attendance, and Bush critisized Russia's move away from democracy. Putin spoke right afterwards, and he said that if democracy was what Bush had brought to Iraq, Russia didn't want any part of it.
It was great. Probably on of the few times during Bush's presidency that someone told him the truth to his face.

June 5, 2007, 5:02 p.m.I put this in another post. But it will fit in here as well.
Does anyone listen to bush anymore except his loyal followers who read out of The Worse President/Administration handbook?
Bush is in WAY over his head. We really don't need him to be speaking for the nation on matters that needs someone who knows what they are talking about.
I get a bad feeling of anxiety when bush starts talking to other countries about war and weapons...etc.
