Holocaust diary emerges after 60 years »

Posted by: Aidenag 2 years, 6 months ago

The diary of a 14-year-old Jewish girl who is being described as the "Polish Anne Frank" was unveiled Monday by Israel's Holocaust museum. More than 60 years after the teenager wrote it, the diary vividly describes the world crumbling around her as she came of age in a Jewish ghetto.

i sympathise with anyone who'd have to endure such horrors, however, if we gave such attention to the stories and artifacts and built monuments for the other 51 million people with the frequency we do for the jews we'd have more monuments than 7-11's in this country. I'd like to hear how the jews were liberated for a change. Lets not forget the 51 million other people who died in WW2 fighting hitler to ultimately save the jews.Have the jews ever built a monument for them in thanks? Or are they just gonna keep revealing artifacts and monuments dedicated to they're hardships. Like i said its time for the jews to get to f*** over it already. The decendants of the 51 million "gentiles" have and are moving on. Lets not forget the other 51 million people who died in this war

Those 51 million other people had the job of putting their lives on the line for others, and I'm sure they did it with pride and honor.

I can guarantee that you still talk about the first time you broke your leg, or got in a fender bender. Maybe you talk about how your great grandfather fought in a war or the time you took your kid to the hospital cause they stepped on a nail. How does all that complare to the Holocaust?

You outta do us all a favor and keep your nasty and heartless opinion to yourself.

All who had the lives taken, or sacrificed their lives for the lives of others should be honored.....but "get f*** over it already" isn't an option.

These pieces are important because they serve as reminders of mans capability to commit atrocities against other men. Not only should we honor the evidence but we should dedicate ourselves to searching for this evil in every dark place on earth. We should dedicate our lives to educating ourselves about the differences in other cultures to ensure that it never happens again. It saddens me to know, that as I write this, it is happening again in Africa.

How true Beeboppin71, and that in a sense was my point. These atrocities didn't happen to one group more than another they happened to HUMANITY. Wars start like this all the time where one group feels more entitled than another, or more superior than another or more deserving than another and so the fight begins. WW2 monuments, artifacts and museums should be for HUMANITY, not one group or another.Thats why it was called WORLD war 2. Singling one group out for accolades or memorials was how these atrocities started in the first place. By me saying get to f*** over it to the jewish people is letting them know they weren't the only ones, although it seems anything to do with their story receives front page news while the stories of the remaining 51 million others who died or suffered go largely ignored.while we cant forget what happened to the jews we must also not forget to the other 51 million people who died. People should remember this... 57 million PEOPLE died

Modern Nazi morons who deny the murder of 6 million Jews, Poles, Gays, Gypsies and "other," various, gulag-fodder, should chemically DateTest this document. Science will "out" the truth that this is an original diary from the '40's. This testament was, at the time, too far-out to be anything BUT THE TRUTH. Back then it was a case of "you can't make this stuff up!" Anti-Semites know the Final Solution was real, they just want to revel in the only thing they do best and that is "Jew baiting" and foaming at the mouth that Jews are responsible for all of this world's ills. That's what Mel Gibson was spouting while drunk in Malibu. One thing good about alcohol: Rummies say what they REALLY think and there's no taking back slurred words nor shouts from the grave fingering genocidal killers (who's progeny would love to do so once again. And again, and again, and again . . . like a boot stomping a face forever).

Hey stevosteveusa, people are people, jews, and gentiles alike. You're brand of rhetoric is the kind that Hitler would've embraced, what makes you think jews are of a lesser consideration than the rest? You're thinking like a bigot. What you should be outraged is of the twisted, & wretched Nazi's had done to all those they had unjustly persecuted. Again, Jews and Gentiles alike!

I believe it is important that people at least know about the Holocaust. If people are aware of the atrocities that were committed, than maybe they may take a stand against the atrocities of today and try to unite with all people.

The 51 million who were murdered during WWII died because the NAZIs murdered the jewish populations with impunity while their christian naeighbors did nothing. And their muslim neighbors were complicit.

                          http://christianactionforisrael.org/medigest/ma...

The wanton murder of 6 million citizens for no reason other than hate is a specialty of the bigots and hate mongers of the world.

The Egyptian brotherhood, whose most famous member of the last 10 years was the blind cleric behind the 1993 attack on the WTC, was and is today a force for blind destruction.

The scum of the earth like Gibson and his father whose lies and putrification has been the reason for years of murder and criminal acts may be best viewed in a novel called The Source by Mitchner.

Looking at the "poor" muslims so put upon by the jews, but Israel and India are the only two democracies in that part of the world where arabs enjoy the benefit of a democracy.

                          Look at the Sudan.

i wrote my first comment to shed light on the fact that 51 million other people seem to have been forgotten over the stories of 6 million, how 10% of people in any situation could drown out the voices of the other 90% is beyond me. This has nothing to with religion but everything to with not forgetting the other victims of this war...... that's all

how is telling someone to get over it racist, see you're proving my point exactly my comments are being construed as anti jew.....what about the other 51 million people you fkn moron. You're not saying "im sorry for the others who died" you're saying im racist. Are we not allowed to remember the others? Maybe you and everybody else has forgotten, I think Isreal should have a memorial for those who fought and died and ultimately saved the jewish religion not "race" from certain annihalation. Can't the jews show respect for the non-jews who saved their asses or is that a racist comment too?

There is no getting over your bigotry and hatred.

The death of 51 million people during WWII was the natural course of action from the blind eye to genocide of the jews.

If they could kill men, women and children with impunity, everyone and everynation was fair game.

After the Vietnamese war the BOAT PEOPLE were refugeees who were cast aside and literally set afloat. No nation would come to their aid until Israel sent in some transport ships to save who they could...thereafter seveeral nations followed their example.

"Righteous Among the Nations" is the special designation for those of non-jewish faith who are honored, you would obviously not be among them.

                                      Steveusa,

I totally agree with you that this has nothing to do with religion. It looks like most_reasonable, or shall I say unreasonable is quite hypocritical, saying that you are bigoted. But how is remembering all 51 million rather than just 6 million killed being bigoted? Unreasonable there is being bigoted trying to point out how evil other religions are. I will say that people slander my religion a lot and it gets annoying when they don't even understand. Every religion I know about teaches the same basic moral values, to love fellow mankind and hold no hatred. All these atrocities are out of human flaw and are not condoned by religion. There are good and bad people in all walks of life.
