The UN hasn't done anything so far, hell, why would they start now? I guess they'll just wait until an international incident happens and hope the US takes the risk.

June 5, 2007, 10:06 a.m.What the hell is wrong with this guy? Is he totally freaking NUTS? (well, probably, but regardless...) Is he TRYING to get himself bombed? Does he ENJOY loud explosions? Did he pay no attention whatsoever when Saddam was blustering how tough he was? This idiot really needs to take a double dose of shutup pills.

June 5, 2007, 10:12 a.m.The only think I ask this time is for members on the UN Security Council who don't like the US and don't support our position on the Iran Affair to just say so this time.
Serious consequences do not include angry letters written on UN letterhead. Just tell us you don't like the US and don't particularly give a dam what Iran does with its nuclear program, so we can skip another Iraq dance.
Free Iran!!!

June 5, 2007, 10:14 a.m.See Cheney, your support of the Iranian infrastructure through off shore subsidiaries of Haliburton that you established while the HAL CEO, has payback. Good you kept your Haliburton stock, it makes the decision to support our enemies that much more tasty.
Did you learn that from Prescott Bush who dealt with the NAZIS? Or are you opening a new chapter in WAR PROFITEERING FOR FUN AND PROFIT.
Nothing like the incompetence of Bush and the complicity of Cheney to embolden a madman.

Just imagine a Bush press conference where only Fox News' reporters were invited.

June 5, 2007, 10:43 a.m.The ultimate question: When will America wake up to the reality that these people want to kill us? The UN can "sanction" their little butts off, but it won't do any good. Princess Pelosi can try to reason with Mahmoud all she wants. I'm sorry, but these bullies only understand violence. We don't need a ground war. We just need to park a smart bomb in Mr. Ahmedinejad's bathroom window. I think that will send the message loud and clear.

June 5, 2007, 11:12 a.m.You see, that is where he is wrong, a few well placed Nukes of our own would take care of the problem. Actually I am surprised Israel has not already taken care of this.

June 5, 2007, 11:51 a.m.Try this, look at it from his point. His scientist are no doubt working on some sort of nuclear weapon, they are probably getting close by now. America and it's allies are mired down in Iraq in a situation they can't win at no matter what they do. If they pull out they loose, if they stay large amounts of troops stay in Iraq and can't be deployed elsewhere plus they become easy targets for terrorist. American finances are so that you don't have a blank cheque for troop deployment plus your troops are already stretched to the limit. Yes your Navy and Air Force could erase almost anything in Iran but there is that new missile system plus all the new toys they have been buying in the last thirty years, many have been updated once they arrived in Iran by their own people. And think about this, if the us tries to move on Iran what will happen to the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq? No doubt the attacks on them will increase to a point where most likely we will have to pull out.

June 5, 2007, 1:47 p.m.Yeah, and Bush using terms like "Crusade" with reference to what we are doing in Iraq is getting our military personnel killed. Anything else would have been better...
Do some cultural homework!

June 5, 2007, 11:29 a.m.Jaydee, do you really think that Muslim extremists want to kill us because of "foreign policy"? It is unfortnate that so many Americans don't understand the "Kill the infidel" mentality. I hate to say it, but the answer is not to appease them. They have shown time and time again that they can't be appeased. We have to be tougher than they are. We cannot allow this tyrant to have nukes and become the Hitler of our time because we're scared of some wacko strapping a bomb to himself in Starbucks. Sitting back and watching it happen will only lead to more violence and strengthening of the terrorists. You talk about learning from your mistakes. Just look back at how World War II became the disaster that it was. You can't let a Hitler become a Hitler. It's just that simple.
