It's really sad.

June 7, 2007, 10:02 p.m.Excellent post and I totally agree. I question that one point, where are the dissenters that also endured another aggressor war by America. Has apathy taken over our nation or will further infringements on our rights by the present powers that are, be enough to stimulate the minds again for change.

June 8, 2007, 12:09 a.m.Its more a matter of the thresh hold of pain. Most people dont give a hoot if the gov taps overseas calls. Most dont care about non-combatants being locked up for ever. The arguement that people cant be heard does not hold water, if you look at what has happened today. The populace got noisey and shut down the immigration bill. They overpowered the president, the Senate powers, business and the media. Pretty impressive whether you are for or against. The threshold was exceeded and and the system responded.
