The Kerry Edwards 2004 campaign says Bill Clinton tried to throw gays under the bus. Bill Clinton's office says it's not true. Who do we believe? And what does this mean for Hillary Clinton's presidential run?

Many have stated very superficially that the San Fransisco marriage phenomenon was the the thing that hurt Kerry in the last election; but the reaction of the right was going to happen whether he liked it or not.
The problem was, he made it worse by ignoring natural allies; big mistake and I find it hard to believe "Clinton told him to do it" as we should remember the very first thing Clinton did as President was to take on the military regarding gays. Yes, his first executive order was to "lay off the gays". That took courage, lest we forget.
Kerry loves to blame others for his mistakes and I guarantee you those gay people and gay supporters that stayed at home in the last election because Kerry ignored them, will come out in droves in 2008 for a candidate that has balls to stand up to the people he has no chance getting a vote from, the religious "wrong".
