It must be hard work to be that hypocritical. He must have to load up on carbs on an hourly basis.

Geez, this is a tough one. I almost agree with O'Reilly (did I just type that), She did let herself get abit carried away with her cause. Overzealous might be the word. And then all of these hangers-on from various causes wanted to cling to her because she was getting publicity. She would have been more effective as a one woman cause. Then you got people that would actually be worse for America than the current administration (did I just type that?) tying themselves to her. The Belafontes with their love for the Chavez's of the world and the other assorted loons. She then became a target, fairly or unfairly.

But we should feel some personal sorrow for her. She still lost her son and received an inordinate amount of dirt from the Right. But this is America. As the Dixie Chicks learned, you speak up publicly, you gotta deal with the consequences. As long as your prepared for the response, fire away.

Last night Olbermann did a segment about a judge who was vilified by a Boston Globe reporter who told O'Really that the judge told a 14 year old rape victim to, "get over it!" Billo asked the reporter if he was sure of this and the reporter said yes. Billo then proceeded to campaign for this judge's removal and instead of just being a regional new story it became international. The judge started receiving all kinds of hate mail and some were in the form of death threats. Well, the story was not true. And the judge sued the paper and reporter and won a 2 million dollar settlement. And after the ruling was upheld on appeals the figure had risen to over 3 million due to interest. The judge's trial lawyer was asked why Billo was not included in the lawsuit and the lawyer said there is a high burden of proof in a libel suit and Billo was not the originator of the lie but just the disseminator.

He helped sell America on hate. It worked.

I HATE that un-American, fascist, two-faced, failed journalist as much as he hates and undermines Democracy.

                Which is quite a lot...
