"Information provided by the brave Filipino citizens recognized today was instrumental in assisting the Armed Forces of the Philippines to track down and locate these two terrorist leaders," the embassy said in a statement.

When one considers the cost of the other methods the Bush regime is using to "hunt" terrorists, this is extremely cost effective.

Hopefully, it will motivate some in other countries to reveal the location of known, proven terrorists.

The majority of Americans know where two or three war criminals can be found.......

Not a bad way to go, eh. I guess if I was risking my life by turning over violent criminals a couple million might ease the pain.

As the worlds policemen the U.S. can print money non stop, 24 hours a day. If America needs more money, add more printing machines. It's easy and cost effective. We should now request all penguins in Antartica to report on any terrorist actions and offer them trillions in American play money to report penguin crime.

Our leaders are totally out of control and America should take their country back from the crooks you elected.

              Wow, generious rewards for information.

Every US senior citizen who is paying more out of pocket, each year for their healthcare coverage, hopes that these informants make the best of their new found wealth.

Would you agree that 10 million would have been a small price to pay to have stopped the cost of 9/11 and the ensuing wars?

Way to go!!!!!! 10 Million well spent! If all it takes is a little cash.... keep at it! 10 Million is cheap. I only hope that the info. pays off... or these "informants" enjoy concrete shoes!

Texangelwings... that $$$ spent has NOTHING to do with my healthcare costs. 2 entirely seperate entities.

as long as they are going to kill the so called terrorists, for 10 million i would turn in my neighbour who doesn't mow his lawn.. that would be a win win..

as i have said many times before, i don't believe nothing out of washington any more.. as far as i am concerned they just like to keep TERRORISM up front and in the minds of the mindless...

i think this is generally a good thing. although paying informers can buy bad info quite often.

the issue i have has to do with as the article states the, "U.S. military has been training and advising Filipino troops... backed by U.S. military surveillance and other noncombatant assistance."

would we be accepting of foreign troops in the US?

what the hell are we doing in the philipines and does our presence breed more dislike for the US. will we become embroiled in yet another overseas conflict. get US troops out of columbia, iran, iraq, the old soviet stans, south and central america. we are like a freaking octopus.

Nelson... Since my healthcare costs are paid to a PRIVATE Insurance Co., any amount of Gov't (taxpayers)$$$ that is spent on paying informants is not under any control of the G.A.O., therefore the 2 are entirly seperate.

As for the personal attacks, I will leave that to the Liberals on this Board and not stoop to that low of a level.
