      Thanks for the article, jovial. It's what I've been saying all along, and it's now heard from another quarter of the world - the 2nd most populace nation on earth.

      Perhaps for his nation's ungratitude and unwillingness to assist the advancing American Empire, the US should sanction India now, starting with all those nuclear freebies its been giving away to this nuclear-armed yet non-signatory of the NPT.

        Thanks for this very interesting post!

        One thing I have noticed about Indians is that they are very passionate about their democracy, and about democratic principles in general. Around 100 years of fight for freedom has ingrained some very fundamental concepts on their psyche - the basic premise of fairness, respect for the principles of governance, and respect for the freedom to choose. They have always managed to keep their democracy on even keel and practiced what they preached - something about which we have a very spotty record!
