June 8, 2007, 11:01 a.m.But the 'surge' is working, right??
Every human being that dies because of the uncontrollable violence in Iraq is on the heads of the Bush administration.
But they don't feel anything for that - they only care about their PNAC agenda to control the middle east, no matter who dies or how many.
And for the "pro-lifers", that includes the thousands of CHILDREN and BABIES that have died in that violence, along with the children that are sick or starving or are drug abusers or are prostitutes or are making bombs for the insurgents ...

June 8, 2007, 11:21 a.m.Why this war has been started and couldn't be stopped? 911/alqaida/WMD/oil.... None of these reasons would have caused total destruction of its environment, infrastructure and social disorder. The real objective of this war is to make sure that Iraq will never confront or bother the state of Israel for her ambition to establish greater and dominant Jewish state in the middle east.
Israel doesn't want to have to do their own dirty work. They never have. History is clear on that. Israel used fake radio traffic to trick the US into attacking Libya. The Israeli attack on the USS Liberty appears to have been a similar attempt to trick the US into attacking Egypt. Israel had some still-classified role in 9-11, whose apparent goal was to trick the US into attacking Iraq and Iran.
That's right, the US Government has been spending your money and the blood of your children on wars dictated by a foreign government. cont...

June 8, 2007, 11:22 a.m.I mean, think about it. If Israel was willing to do their own dirty work, they would not constantly be demanding the US do it, or bribing the US Congress to get it. that's what exactly has happened in Iraq war. Where were those fake intelligences (WMD, 'yellow cake'â;¦) coming from? Similar scenario is developing against Iran.
So, settle back, get ready for yet another war on Israel's enemies, and figure out how much the life of your child is really worth, and hope that the US Congress that SOLD your child into bondage for Israel made a decent profit.

June 8, 2007, 11:55 a.m.We've managed to kill, or allow to be killed, many more Iraqis than Saddam Hussein's regime did. Someday, this will weigh on the American conscience nearly as much as the Native American genocide and slavery. Until then, it's just more of the same.
Might does not make right. The ends do not justify the means.

June 8, 2007, 12:01 p.m.There is simply no doubt our present plans to send guns and munitions instead of nonviolent weapons of peace--books, teachers, computers, etc., simply isn't working. How is it that we can spend 10 billion a month on munitions there, but not even a few dollars to teach peace and love. This has to be done in the communities, in the houses of worship, on the TV, radio and in the papers. But instead, we walk down the streets with weapons in our hands, knocking down doors, violating privacy, cultural norms, etc., creating fear and hate. We need to teach them peace and love, conflict resolution on their block, in their neighborhood and in their country. For a great book on peace, go to amazon, LuLu dot com or ebay and look for "korana of mother goddess." peace and love all

June 8, 2007, 2:26 p.m.I just wish Bush would resign on this own, he wouldn't.
America must suffer in an unwinnable war for a failed legacy he will never attain.
He is so bad I have run our of verbage.

June 8, 2007, 2:37 p.m.Back and forth every day ... never ends
I wonder what the world would look like today had we not gone.
Saddam still in power, the two bastard sons still alive. Saddam pocketing another $20 billion or so with payoffs to UN, France. We still wouldn't know what he was up to and still believe he had WMD's.
It's often good to bring a problem situation to a head.

June 9, 2007, 12:41 a.m.Next time any of you go to a ball game pick a half section in the stands and imagine those people being killed during the last week in Baghdad. You can also work up the full 3900 we have lost in Iraq if you do part of one end of the stadium.
