June 9, 2007, 3:09 p.m.Did Castro really write this? I find it amazing that all these men in power call each other names while ruling their own counties with iron fists--Bush included.

June 9, 2007, 3:20 p.m.Pols are always using words to mask the realpolitik nature of power. And you're right, that duplicity exists here too.

June 10, 2007, 9:30 a.m.Yes but, now the U.S. has become the very thing we used to fight against!
Is any dictator anywhere taking away civil rights faster than Bush? Is there a madman power monger that threatens world peace more than Bush?
There are some differences between Castro and Bush.
Although both are dictators, Castro believes in the state having the power, where Bush wants himself and the corporations to hold the reigns (under him.)
Although both men demand things be done their way, regardless of the will of the people, Castro doesn't have the finances available of Bush, to spy on his peoples every communication.
And as for communication, Castro is brighter, better spoken, and much better at it!
One more difference, Castro enjoys a much higher popularity amongst his people than does Bush, and on a world-wide scale, absolutely NO national leader is more hated and reviled than Bush.
Bush took his country's name and reputation, along with his own, right down the crapper!
Smooth-move ExLax!

My guess is that this is something he heard from one of the journalists he unjustly imprisoned.
