      easy... get them some toys, bikes, baseballs, etc. and lock them outside! Allow them in for lunch and drinks... not soda and chips. Pounds melt off... kids have fun being kids. Doesn't seem really difficult to me, but then again, that is how I raised my kids, and both of them are too skinny!
