If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. Of all the enemies to public ...

I wonder if the Mexican govt. will negotiate a ceasefire with Sub-commandante Marcus in order to free up resources to fight the cartels. It seems like a smart move.

Mexico still has people left over? I'd thought all of them were in the U.S.A.

Sure, Calderon blames American drug consumers. But as soon as there is a plan to wall off the border, his predecessor threatened to make a legal drug zone buffer at the border.

In fact, every time this country does anything to try to limit illegal immigration, Mexico threatens something.

If the Mexican government is not willing to root out corruption in its own country, it certainly is in no position to throw stones at how the U.S. handles the borders. We have enough corruption of our own without importing more.

They do not want to be legal citizens, Mexico does not want to develope its own economy when they can get usa dollars and money from drug lords.

Ancient way of doing things. But lazy. USA must be getting kickbacks too.

Mexico needs to fix its' own problems... NOT blame the U.S.

The corruption in Mexico is rampant, and this comes from someone that vacations EVERY year there, and we will continue to do so.

perhaps they should learn from our past... remember the mobsters of the 20's? It took several years and cost alot of lives, but eventually they were and remain primarily broken up. Yes, they still exist, Yes they still have control and influence over certain aspects of society, but it is not nearly what is was back then.

The Mexican drug cartels will always exist, and certain levels of murders will continue, but it CAN be reeled in to a certain level. But that will not occour until the Mexican Gov't does something to curtail the corruption that is so prevelant.

Ubconfuse... I am saddened by your belief that "we need them". It is that unfounded and unproven belief that continues the Immigration reform Act, and is killing our Soverign nation. Somehow, we survived just fine before this invasion was taking place, and i believe we will continue to thrive AFTER we put an end to it!
